VoyZia – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how GZLighTek ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses,
and protects information in connection with your use of the VoyZia mobile application
and related services (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide
We may collect the following types of information that you provide:
- Account information. Email address or other details you provide when registering or signing in, where applicable.
- Support and communication. Information you include when you contact us by email or through support channels (for example, your name, contact details, and message content).
1.2 Voice, conversation, and usage data
To provide its conversation assistant features, VoyZia processes audio, text, and related data:
- Push-to-Talk voice input. Audio captured from your device's microphone during voice translation sessions (including real-time streaming STT sessions).
- Pair Chat messages. Text messages sent within bilingual pair conversations, along with the translated versions delivered to the other participant.
- Remote voice session data. Audio and transcription data generated during live remote voice exchange sessions between paired users.
- Transcriptions and translations. Text produced by converting voice input to text and translating it into another language.
- Smart Rephrase requests. The translated phrase submitted for rephrasing and the AI-generated alternative versions returned to you.
- Scenario phrase usage. Which scenario categories and quick phrases you access (restaurant, taxi, spa, travel, shopping).
- Photo/camera translations. Images captured via the in-app camera OCR feature, processed to extract and translate text.
- Usage metrics. Credits consumed per session, selected language pairs, features used, timestamps, and technical status codes.
Depending on your settings and technical configuration, some of this data may be
temporarily stored to deliver the Service, maintain logs, and prevent abuse.
1.3 Device and technical information
We may collect limited device and technical data, such as:
- device type, operating system, and app version;
- anonymized identifiers used for analytics or to measure usage;
- IP address and approximate region, where required for security and diagnostics.
1.4 Subscription and purchase information
If you purchase a subscription, payments are processed by Apple via In-App Purchase.
We do not receive your full payment card details. We may receive and store limited
purchase-related information (subscription status, product identifiers, and receipt
verification results) to provide the Service and apply plan limits.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the Service. Processing voice input, transcriptions, pair chat messages, remote session data, rephrase requests, and translations so that you can use VoyZia's conversation features.
- To maintain and improve the Service. Monitoring performance, diagnosing issues, and improving accuracy, stability, and user experience across all modes (Solo, Pair, Remote).
- To manage plans and limits. Measuring your credit usage to apply free and paid plan entitlements across all features.
- To manage subscriptions and entitlements. Verifying subscription status and enabling features associated with your plan.
- To communicate with you. Responding to inquiries, support requests, and sending important notifications.
- To ensure security and prevent abuse. Detecting, preventing, and responding to misuse, fraud, or other harmful activities.
3. Use of third-party AI and service providers
VoyZia uses third-party service providers to deliver certain functions, including
speech recognition, translation, text-to-speech, AI rephrasing, hosting, storage,
analytics, and crash/diagnostic reporting. These providers process your data on our behalf
solely to provide the Service and subject to appropriate safeguards.
We take reasonable steps to ensure that such providers only process your data
as necessary and under appropriate contractual and security controls.
4. Data retention
4.1 General retention
- Account data. Retained while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service.
- Voice, conversation, and translation data. Processed to provide the Service; may be stored temporarily for delivery, troubleshooting, quality monitoring, and abuse prevention.
- Technical logs and security records. May be retained for a limited period to maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and meet legal/security obligations.
- Support communications. Retained as needed to follow up on requests and maintain service records.
- Subscription/entitlement records. May be retained to validate access, resolve billing issues, prevent fraud, and comply with legal/accounting requirements.
4.2 Account deletion (30-day grace period with restore)
VoyZia provides in-app account deletion. When you initiate account deletion, we apply a
soft deletion and start a 30-day grace period:
- Within 30 days: If you log in again, your account and associated data may be automatically restored, including your plan/entitlements and usage records.
- After 30 days (no login): We will proceed to permanently delete your account and associated data, except where retention is required or permitted by law.
This grace period helps prevent accidental deletions and allows recovery if you change your mind.
5. Data security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect
your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
6. Children's privacy
The Service is not designed for children under the age at which they can
legally consent to data processing in their country. If you believe we may have
collected personal information from a child without appropriate consent, please contact us at
contact@gzlightek.com and we will take appropriate steps.
7. International data transfers
Because our infrastructure and service providers may be located in multiple countries,
your information may be processed and stored outside of your country of residence.
By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to
other jurisdictions with different data protection laws.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:
- access and receive a copy of your personal data;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request deletion of your data in certain circumstances;
- object to or request restriction of certain processing; and
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
8.1 How to delete your account
You can initiate account deletion directly in the app via Settings → Delete Account.
Account deletion follows the 30-day grace period described in Section 4.2.

9. Cookies and similar technologies
The VoyZia mobile app relies primarily on in-app identifiers and logs, rather than
traditional browser cookies. If additional web-based features are introduced in the future,
we may use cookies or similar technologies to improve the Service.
10. Third-party links and services
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services (for example, app stores,
payment providers, or AI providers). This Privacy Policy does not cover the practices
of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes,
we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and may provide
additional notice within the app or on our website.
Your continued use of the Service after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
